Technology Development Intern / Working Student (f/m/x)
BUCHHOLZ IN DER NORDHEIDE (NEAR HAMBURG, DE)
FULL-TIME / PART-TIME STUDENT JOB
We are tackling global plastic pollution! Do you want to help us?
We are looking for a tech enthusiast who helps us further develop the technology to produce our novel, advanced biomaterial. As an intern you experience the scale-up of our technology first-hand – you support us in operating and optimizing our pilot plant! Are you interested in helping to build an ambitious startup right from the start and to scale-up our production? Then we are looking for you!
We are a young company - with a big vision: a future free of pollution and waste! At traceless, we engineer advanced biomaterials that integrate into nature's biological cycle without leaving a trace. Our innovative technology allows us to produce biomaterials from plant residues that are naturally compostable and holistically sustainable. Now we need to scale-up our production to replace as much plastic and bioplastic as possible with our materials - and that's where you come in!
About the position
As our Technology Development Intern (f/m/x), you will support our operations and engineering group. While actively assisting our operator team, you gather process information and use it for your own improvement projects at the pilot plant or to provide input for the planning of our first industrial plant.
Support our operators in running our pilot plant
Gather and edit data of the production process from different sources (plant control system, quality analysis, raw material, ..)
Find patterns in order to improve the performance of our pilot plant and to set the basis for the development of our industrial plants
Lead your own improvement project at the pilot plant (our experienced engineering team will assist you)
You are studying process engineering, mechanical engineering, polymer technology or something similar and want to do an industry internship
You are practically minded and do not shy away from getting your hands dirty, ideally you even already have some practical experience
You have a hands on mentality and like to find pragmatic solutions for new challenges
You like to bring in your own ideas how to optimize our plant and scale-up our technology
You are reliable, innovative, open and have a sense of humor
Nice to have: You have basic programming and data analysis skills
What we offer you
At traceless, you get a job with purpose! A team of passionate experts is waiting for you, united by strong company values, a pioneering spirit and the ecological impact we achieve together. Here you get the opportunity to make a real difference with your skills and expertise, driving traceless forward and, beyond that, the green transformation of our economy.
You have the freedom to independently develop solutions, take on responsibility and improve our production. We offer you a unique team spirit and flat hierarchies in which you can grow together with us. In particular, our production and technology development area will grow strongly over the next few years due to the construction of additional plants and will offer you plenty of opportunities for further development. You will spend your working days in an innovative work environment with start-up flair at the ISI Zentrum in Buchholz i.d.N., with remote working options.
Don’t meet every single requirement? We would still like to hear from you - you might be just the right person for this or other roles!
We are committed to building a diverse, inclusive and equitable workplace. Therefore, we welcome all applications - regardless of gender, nationality, ethnic and social origin, religion/worldview, disability, age as well as sexual orientation and identity.
How to apply
To apply, send us your CV via email to careers(at)traceless.eu and tell us in a form of your choice (e.g. in a short text or video) why you are the right person for our team. We're looking forward to getting to know you!
