About traceless

The traceless materials GmbH is a female-founded circular bioeconomy startup, founded in September 2020 in Hamburg, Germany. With our materials, we are offering a holistically sustainable alternative to conventional plastics and bioplastics.

Our innovative, patented technology for the first time allows us to use food production residues to produce materials that are compostable under natural composting conditions. While bio-based, our materials don’t cause land-use-change, don’t need any hazardous additives or solvents, have up to 87% lower CO2 emissions and don’t fall under the EU Plastic Directive. By considering all impact indicators, traceless’ biomaterial solution is uniquely sustainable. Already competitive to conventional plastics and bioplastics in quality, on industrial production scale our materials will be price competitive to virgin plastic, allowing our customers to convert traceless materials into sustainable, affordable products for end-customers in all demographics and income levels to become part of the solution to solve global plastic pollution.
