We are a young company - with a big vision: a future free of pollution and waste! At traceless, we engineer advanced biomaterials that integrate into nature's biological cycle without leaving a trace. Our innovative technology allows us to produce biomaterials from plant residues that are naturally compostable and holistically sustainable. Now we need to scale-up our production to replace as much plastic and bioplastic as possible with our materials - and that's where you come in!

About the position 

​

As our IT Manager (f/m/x), you will be responsible for the development and implementation of our IT strategy, architecture, and for developing and maintaining the IT solution portfolio that will underpin company growth and our next generation production plant. This will be a hands-on role and you will have a clean sheet to develop, source and implement an IT strategy all while providing day-to-day operational support to the entire company. In the medium-term, you will build a small and efficient IT team to support you. Your innovative solutions help us to develop traceless into the market leader in the field of compostable biomaterials.

• Transform IT from a decentralized open IT set up to a scalable long term IT architecture. 

• Define and maintain the target IT architecture for ERP, MES and CAQ based on one of the standard solutions

• Define IT operation model for traceless and key IT processes

• Engage with all stakeholders to determine and document their needs for IT systems support 

• Sourcing and selection of required IT systems and service providers 

• Make sure the systems are implemented according to leading practices and that domain and technology architecture standards, governance and principles are implemented effectively

• Own and continuously improve the tooling, processes, methods and alignment to industry standards for the solution and technology architecture

• IT support, equipment planning and administration incl. hardware for individuals, meeting rooms and company phones

• Assess, implement and maintain required Cyber security protection mechanisms 

• Work with data privacy officer to develop required data protection.
   

Your qualification

​

• You have a degree in computer science or a relevant related field

• You have a strong ambition to expand your knowledge in ERP, MES and CAQ, while you bring a strong background in at least one of those systems

• You exhibit sound business judgment and proactively manage the interface between IT and business development

• You have at least 3 years of experience administering the IT environment at a young, fast-growing enterprise or a large organization in the industrial production sector

• You have experience in selection and management of IT suppliers and other stakeholders

• You are also practically minded and do not shy away from getting your hands dirty

• You think innovatively & solution-oriented, are a team player and have a sense of humor

• You are highly proficient in spoken and written German and English
