traceless® is on the verge of industrial scaling, with a clear vision, a strong technological foundation, and a leadership trio that thinks strategically and acts decisively. The leadership team, consisting of CEO Anne Lamp, COO Sina Spingler, and CFO Jakob Röskamp, brings together diverse skills, perspectives, and experience with a common goal: to balance innovation, impact, and business development. In this interview, they talk about their motivation, how they work together as a team, and the strategic path traceless® will take in the coming years.Â

Anne, what is your vision for traceless® in the coming years?

Anne: ''We are currently at an incredibly exciting stage: the foundations have been laid in terms of technology, organization, and strategy. Now it's time to ramp up production and establish traceless® as an industrially scalable solution to the growing plastic problem. We never lose sight of our vision: we want to create a world where the materials we use have a positive impact on our planet – and where plastic pollution and waste are a thing of the past. I am convinced that traceless® will not only establish itself economically in the coming years but will also shape a new category of eco-friendly materials in the market. It is important to me that we remain innovation-driven, but with a clear and stable course. The bioeconomy needs long-term thinking, reliable structures, and bold decisions. Our team combines precisely these qualities.''
How do you view the development of traceless® since its founding? Â
Anne: ''Looking back on the last five years, I see a company that has grown consistently and with a clear focus in a highly dynamic environment. We've evolved from a laboratory idea to industrial production and from a start-up to a tech company with 100 employees.Â
What makes me particularly proud is that we have managed to combine scientific excellence, impact orientation, and economic scaling.
Very early on, we deliberately created structures that enable growth while maintaining an environment in which people can work with conviction and integrity. traceless® is stable: a strong team, a viable business model, and the ambition to bring about real change through innovation. Now, more than ever, with our new team, we are committed to continuing this path.''
Jakob, in your opinion, what are the greatest opportunities and challenges in the field of impact investing and sustainable growth?Â

Jakob: ''We are currently seeing a clear preference among investors for business models that combine impact with a clear commercial use case for the customer. This is, of course, challenging, especially when competing with heavily subsidized, mass-produced fossil-based plastics. However, we have received clear feedback from our partners and customers that traceless® offers a unique value proposition. Thanks to our strong commercial partnerships, we can work with our financing partners to lay the foundation for further growth and increase our production capacity.''
Â
What motivates you to help shape traceless® not only as CFO, but also strategically?Â
Jakob: ''I see my role as establishing the ideal conditions for fostering growth in a responsible and targeted manner. At traceless®, I can bring together capital markets, funding landscapes, and industrial scaling in such a way that good technology becomes a market-relevant game changer. I am committed to combining economic excellence and profound impact in a business model. With its innovative, sustainable technology and ambitious team, traceless® offers the ideal environment to make this vision a reality.Â
This motivates me every day, because I firmly believe that with traceless® we can not only build a company, but also contribute significantly to the transformation of the (bio)chemical industry.
Sina, you joined the management team in February 2025 – what appeals to you about your new role as COO?Â

Sina: ''I have been part of traceless® for almost two years now. What continues to inspire me is the combination of social responsibility, technological substance, economic efficiency, and a team that works with conviction and a strong team culture to achieve our mission. traceless® solves a massive environmental problem with a widely applicable technology and does so with a team that is passionate about its mission. In my new role as COO, my focus is on preparing for the successful operation of our first industrial plant and creating structures that strengthen the team and enable us to successfully deliver our products to the market. I am particularly excited about the operational implementation of our strategy – the interaction between development, production, supply chain, and market access.
My personal ambition is to create an industrial workplace with traceless® that is sustainable, meaningful, and appreciative in every aspect and offers long-term prospects for talented individuals in the (bio)chemical industry.Â
I am particularly looking forward to developing these tasks in close collaboration with the entire management team!''
Â
What is your specific role as COO in day-to-day business? Â
Sina: ''As COO, I am responsible for implementing our ambitious growth targets at the operational level. That includes setting up our operational organization and managing and developing our production, quality, logistics, and organizational processes – always with the aim of harmonizing our culture, scalability, efficiency, and quality. In my day-to-day work, this means ensuring clear priorities, close coordination between teams, and that operational decisions are strategically sound. My goal is to create structures that enable entrepreneurial action, especially in a dynamic, evolving company like traceless®. Our different perspectives and professional backgrounds complement each other perfectly.  This creates a valuable foundation for making well-informed, forward-thinking decisions together.''
