Finally, the time has come: Today, the K 2022, the World's No. 1 Trade Fair for Plastics and Rubber, has opened its door to the trade public. And the traceless team is present, proudly presenting traceless materials on our own booth! The last K was in 2019, and as a young company just founded in 2020 we are participating for the first time - so you can imagine with how much excitement we have been waiting for this day!
We had a very successful start to the fair today, which far exceeded our expectations: After just one day, we've already had an incredible amount of interested visitors at our little traceless booth, all keen to learn more about our natural plastic alternative. Our team had highly interesting conversations with people from all parts of the industry - from plastic converters, to brand owners, distributors and polymer scientists.
The highlight meeting of the day
Within all the exciting network opportinities during this first day, this one clearly stood out: traceless Co-Founder and CEO Dr. Anne Lamp got the exclusive chance to meet Dr. Christiane Rohleder, Secretary at the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV)!
Dr. Rohleder was the opening speaker for the fair, and after her speech she spent some time on the fairground to learn more about how the industry is headed towards sustainable technologies. In a small amd exclusive round of talks with Thorsten Kühmann, Managing Director Plastics and Rubber Machinery at VDMA; and Ulrich Reifenhäuser, Chief Sales Officer at Reifenhäuser, Anne was able to talk to the State Secretary in person. We are grateful for this unique opportunity - and pretty proud that we could impress Dr. Rohleder with our bio-circular material solution!
