Value to Industry: traceless wins CHEManager Innovation Pitch of the Year 2023

Are you wondering what the Chemical Industry professionals think of traceless? Apparently, quite a lot: traceless has been selected as the CHEManager Innovation Pitch of the Year 2023 - in the "Value to Industry" category!

"With traceless it‘s our mission to be a change enabler, and shape the transformation of our industry. As a team with many Chemistry and Process Technology enthusiasts, we are very proud to get the recognition of this award from such an expert jury. Thank you!“

Dr.-Ing. Anne Lamp, CEO & Co-Founder traceless materials

The CHEManager Innovation Pitch is the startup initiative of CHEManager and CHEManager International - among the most important industry magazines for decision-makers in the chemical and life sciences industry and known for their process engineering expertise. Earlier in 2023, we were selected for a double-page article (Issue 3/2023). Now, we have been chosen as the best company of the year in the "Value to Industry" category.

A bio-circular innovation with value to the Industry: The traceless® technology

It is an award that makes us at traceless doubly proud: Firstly, because this award comes from experts in our industry. This shows that our technology is not only good for the planet, but also has real innovative value for the industry. Secondly, because we were recognized in the "Value to Industry" category. We are convinced that we can only achieve our goal of a plastic pollution-free future if we anchor the transformation on a broad scale. We are currently scaling our production to industrial scale - and want to help shape the climate-neutral, circular and green future of the chemical industry together with others.

Chemical Industry startup scene: Things are moving

In the two other categories, the expert jury selected the start-ups Cyclize (Category: Value to Sustainability) and Oxyle (Category: Value to Society). Our congratulations! According to the organizers, this year, German Startups were strongly represented. This shows that finally, things are moving in the German chemical and life science start-up scene. And the innovation push is urgently needed, as the transition that lies ahead of this industry is not a small one.

An innovation pillar that needs support

Startups are a central pillar of innovation and can develop the truly innovative, disruptive technologies and business models of tomorrow - so those that are successful in the regenerative, digital and circular economy of the future. The startups of today are also creating the industry of tomorrow for Germany as an industry location. Particularly in the area of industrial production, startups have the advantage over established companies that they are free from the economic obligations of the fossil, linear age. At the same time, they operate at maximum entrepreneurial risk and with difficult access to capital. In order to develop their potential as transformation enablers, they need massive start-up support. In September 2023 and together with other pioneers from the circular value chains, we have developed a policy paper for the transition of the Chemical Industry, which you can find under this link (German Language).
