traceless is one of the Next Economy Award winners!

Christmas came early for us this year! On the 2nd of December we received what's probably our best Christmas present so far: We are one of the winners of the Next Economy Award!

The Next Economy Award (NEA) is the startup competition of the German Sustainability Award (Deutscher Nachhaltigkeitspreis) - Europe's leading award for ecological and social engagement, which was awarded in 2022 for the 15th time. The NEA prizes founders who drive social and ecological change with innovative business models, and is awarded in cooperation with Evonik Industries. Sealing the potential in our core purpose

Since sustainability is paramount for us in everything we do at traceless, it is a great honour to have received this very award, as it focuses on sustainability in the biggest sense of the word. At the end of a year that has brought us much recognition - including the Deutscher Gründerpreis 2022 and the Wissenschaftspreis 2022 - this is not just another award for us. It certifies through an independent jury of sustainability experts: With our business model, we're on the right track to fulfil our purpose, and truly advance the green transformation.

''When I invented the technology behind traceless it was my eventual goal to create a material as sustainable as possible. To now have won one of the most important sustainability awards out there, shows traceless’ potential in realising a greener future for everyone.'' Anne Lamp, traceless' CEO & Co-Founder

On stage with the Who-Is-Who of the German sustainability scene

After we had already learned about our nomination and selection among the finalists earlier, our Co-founder Anne pitched traceless in front of the jury in Düsseldorf last Friday on a big the 15th Deutscher Nachhaltigkeitstag. On this day the leading players from business, politics, science and civil society are all brought together - meaning it was an amazing chance to meet other companies and personalities whom are at the helm of the green transformation.

But this was not all that had to be done to win this prize: a big thank you to everyone who voted for traceless in the public voting - it means a lot to us! And of course, our sincere congratulations to the other winners: Installion, advancing the expansion of renewable energies through their photovoltaic installation platform, and Protein Distillery, paving the way towards sustainable food production through their first-of-a-kind vegan protein product. Seeing amazing innovations like theirs makes us confident that our other Christmas wish - a greener and nicer planet for all - will come true sooner rather than later as well!
